About Jenny

Jenny M. Flanigan is an experienced attorney advocating for the rights of victims and survivors of crime, including sexual abuse and assault. Prior to joining LBK Law, Jenny worked as an Assistant City Attorney, in Vero Beach, Florida, where she worked to disarm abusers and criminals under Florida’s “red flag” law for local police departments. She also spent time as an Of Counsel Attorney for Smith Oropeza in Key West, Florida, and was an attorney for the Winters Law Group in Lexington, Kentucky, where she represented victims in civil matters.

Jenny graduated from West Virginia University College of Law, earning the Order of the Coif distinction.  She first clerked in the Southern District of West Virginia, then for U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves in the Eastern District of Kentucky.

As a lawyer and as a human, Jenny is “trauma informed” and believes it is necessary to honor survivors in the journey to recovery. As a registered yoga teacher and avid volunteer, she has dedicated hundreds of hours of personal service to local communities and causes, including Safe Space of Indian River County and Communities Connected 4 Kids, serving foster children. She volunteers for the Guardian Ad Litem program in Florida as a child advocate.

Jenny dedicates her legal practice to making the world a safer and more accountable place for those who are vulnerable, especially children.
