Alexandra Stulpin is an associate with the firm’s Crime Victims Team where she regularly handles cases involving sexual and physical assaults in institutional settings including boarding schools, residential treatment facilities, hospitals, universities, schools, sports organizations, daycare centers, and religious institutions.

Prior to joining LBK, Alexandra was a civil litigator at a prestigious Plaintiff’s firm in Philadelphia, charged with managing every sex abuse case in the entire firm from the initial intake to its conclusion.  This experience provided Alexandra with valuable practical experience of how to work with victims through each stage of the civil litigation process, ensuring they are treated with the respect and dignity each survivor deserves.

Alexandra also worked at a well-known education law firm in New Jersey, that oversaw the representation of over eighty school boards across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  As part of her education law practice, Alexandra worked closely with school administrators, Child Study Teams, special education educators, which provides a unique insight into her current practice against institutions in the educational setting, especially as it relates to our most vulnerable special education students.

Alexandra is a proud graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she graduated summa cum laude, double majoring in History and Political Science.  During her time at Penn State, she was a Scholar of the Schreyer Honors College, earning interdisciplinary honors in History and Women’s Studies, following the submission and approval of her thesis entitled “Lifting the Veil: A Comprehensive Analysis of Sexual Violence in Iraq and Afghanistan from 1989-2009.”  Her thesis examined the how sexual assault was weaponized against women and children during times of military occupation in the Middle East, showing how sexual violence and armed conflict are increasingly and inextricably linked in order to systematically subvert and disenfranchise women, stripping them of their agency.  Alexandra also was a member of the Penn State Crew Team, serving as Public Relations Chairperson and Women’s Captain, Phi Beta Kappa, and Lion Scouts.

A graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Alexandra served as an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review as well as an Academic Achievement Fellow.  Alexandra was also as a member of the Appellate and Post-Conviction Advocacy Clinic.  As a student attorney in the clinic, she was personally responsible for a criminal appeal, including the drafting of two briefs and the presentation of oral argument before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, Maryland’s intermediate appellate court.  Alexandra successfully obtained relief for her client, confirming comparative bullet lead analysis (CBLA) could not be admitted as evidence of guilt in subsequent Maryland trials and appeals, effectively overruling previous legal precedent in the state.

After law school, Alexandra served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division for the Honorable William E. Nugent.

Outside of the practice of law, Alexandra serves as an Associate Member of the Schreyer Honors College Alumni Society Board in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group, as well as interviews prospective applicants as part of the Schreyer Honors College Admissions Interview Program.

She is an active member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and American Association for Justice.
