O’Brien, formerly of 616 Roseland Avenue, Jenkintown, PA. A lawsuit has been filed against O’Brien’s estate administered by his spouse Therese O’Brien. The Complaint alleges that O’Brien, a former Abington School District teacher, engaged in unlawful, harmful and offensive sexual conduct and contact upon a minor child who was a neighbor and family friend of the O’Briens.
The lawsuit alleges that the years of sexual abuse began when the victim was just six years old. During visits and sleepovers at the O’Brien residence, the minor was subjected to repeated sexual abuse by O’Brien. Following the minor-child’s disclosure of the five-plus years of sexual abuse to authorities, O’Brien was struck and killed by a freight train.
