One Liberty Observation Deck

Opened to the public in November 2015, One Liberty Observation Deck, also known as Philly from the Top, provides a fully enclosed, 360-degree panoramic view of the city from 883 feet above street level. The deck is considered the highest public access leveled and the tallest standing building in Philadelphia in 2016.

The attraction consists of three levels for guests to explore. The ground level serves as the entry-level, where you’ll be able to spend some time learning the city’s cultural history and place in the United States. The second is where you purchase your tickets, explore the gift shop, and choose to take a photo in front of a green screen. The 57th floor is the observation deck, where you’ll be met by an area with seating, tables, and vending machines for snacks.

The deck offers glorious views of the city, where you can view iconic sights like Ben Franklin Parkway, City Hall, Spruce Street Harbor Park, and the rest of Philadelphia. You can explore their Go Find Your Philly Interaction Boards to get a closer look at key landmarks all around the city.

With six touch screen monitors throughout the deck, you can experience high-quality, zoomed in sites around the region. The high-definition monitors also serve as an informational guide, providing the history of landmarks, architecture, and how it impacted the cities culture.

The attraction also offers tours, free with paid admission if you’re looking to learn more about the deck and the surrounding iconic landmarks all over the city.

Tour guides will touch on several quintessential attractions as well as the Philadelphia’s historical background. Tours operate on a specific schedule, so check online before visiting.

If you finish exploring early, end your trip at The Shops at Liberty Place. You’ll find 42 brand name stores along with 16 food court options to feed your appetite and treat yourself to a little gift. Read more about other attractions to visit in Philly.
