In the alleged child sexual abuse case against Dr. William Vollmar that came to light last April, thirteen more accusers have come forward to speak their truth. Additionally, the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office filed a motion to add the account of the 13 accusers to its case against Vollmar as witnesses.
Guy D’Andrea, attorney for at least one survivor of Dr. Vollmar’s alleged abuse, spoke with WGAL’s Katelyn Smith, saying that more victims were expected to come forward due to Vollmar’s wide-reaching practice wherein a countless number of individuals, including children, were in his care.
D’Andrea also urged survivors to speak their truth, despite the statute of limitations: “Tell your truth. Tell what happened to you. That will help the survivors who do have a cause of action. But it will also ensure, I believe, if justice is done, that no one else is victimized by this man.”
