 Philadelphia personal injury lawyer discusses bankruptcy at ABA Business Section panel

PHILADELPHIA (April 2022) – Personal injury law firm Laffey, Bucci & Kent (LBK) is pleased to announce that attorney Alexandria MacMaster recently spoke at the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section panel on “A Charitable Exploration of Bankruptcy Issues Affecting Nonprofits.” The presentation took place on April 1st.

MacMaster was joined on the panel by Frank Bailey, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, District of Massachusetts, Judith Ross of Ross & Smith PC, James Sheehan of the New York Attorney General’s office, Andrew Troop of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, and Brent Weisenberg of Lowenstein Sandler. The panel was part of the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting, which brought together legal professionals from around the world for panel discussions on various topics in the field of business law.

MacMaster is an experienced trial attorney with a history of successfully obtaining justice for victims of crimes. She regularly handles cases involving sexual assaults and child abuse in institutional settings including boarding schools, residential treatment facilities, hospitals, universities, sports organizations, day care centers, and schools. She has successfully brought dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict. She is a proud graduate of Boston College and Widener University School of Law.
